Tracy (Winton) Patton

unless otherwise noted
Tracy Winton married Justin Patton in May 2009......I traveled to Winchester, TN to do her bridal make-up and also hair and make-up for my friend Melissa (her sis-in-law-to-be and a bridesmaid). It was a blast to hang with these lovely ladies! Tracy & I had a consultation at my home a couple of months before the wedding, and I was excited to do her make-up. The wedding pictures were beautiful and I had fun spending time with she and Melissa.

This is my own snapshot...

Melissa (Patton) Page

I had a BLAST with Melissa...these are the pictures I snapped of her after I did her hair and makeup for Justin (her bro) and Tracy's wedding. Melissa is so easy to work with--great hair, great skin...beautiful woman, so it's fun and not "work!" I used a blend of MAC and Estee Lauder eyeshadows & eyeliner, MAC blush, Laura Mercier concealer and powder, Sephora highlighter pencil, L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in Blackest Black (my signature & favorite!), and custom blend of lipstick & gloss.

Lindsey

Lindsey is such a sweet precious woman! I did her makeup & hair for an event and it was a blast. We work together and I was honored to be hired for her hair and makeup last fall...

Lindsey is like me--she has very fine hair. Her hair is also naturally very straight. In order to give her a little bit of fullness I set her hair on hot rollers first, then used a curling iron to refine some curl. She had a picture of Carrie Underwood that we modeled after and she loved it.

Erika Page White...Nashville Film Festival

Erika and Bryan are favorite clients! I love my opportunities to do Erika's hair and make-up, and it's always fun to style her wardrobe as well. The 2009 Nashville Film Festival gave me the chance to do all of that twice. Below are pictures from some interview footage and signing autographs at one of the events. We wanted a sleek look--Erika wore a white jacket with a low black v-neck shirt under, cool layered necklaces, dark jeans and heels. A sleek ponytail with some height at the crown, and a smokey eye look finished it off.

Kim's Wedding...Bride and Bridesmaids

Kim is a client of my sister Laura's (hair stylist at Salon F/X)...a few times Laura and I have done weddings as a team. (She does hair, I do make-up.) This was one of those fun wedding days that we worked together! Kim is the bride...this is a 'before & after' picture of her. Kim was so great to work with--she knew exactly what she wanted, brought some picture ideas with her, and I've worked with her four times--I did a consultation trial run, a special formal event, her bridal portrait session, and her wedding day! Congrats, Kim!!

Kim wanted dramatic eyes, and lots of browns and bronze colors...she looked beautiful! (I loved the fact that she told me afterwards that everyone was complimenting how long her makeup lasted--she had a very formal wedding, and two receptions (with two dresses)! Partying into the night, her make-up looked great at the beginning AND the end...and that is huge!)

This is maid of honor, Carla--she is Kim's sister and is a blast to work with as well. I've done her makeup for a special formal event and for the wedding. We went with a smokey grey eye look and nude lips. She doesn't wear make-up a lot so she wanted to keep it simple, but with the formality of the wedding and black dresses, this was a great look for her!

This is bridesmaid Elaine--she was nervous about getting her make-up professionally done and thought it might look like way too much (another client not used to wearing make-up). However, she loved it when I was finished. I took this picture on my digital camera so I could show her how much the lens absorbs make-up. When you use just a little bit more for a special event, your face won't wash out when you're in front of flashing cameras all night! You will glow and look beautiful, but you don't have to look like you've caked a bunch of make-up on--it's all in the application!

Lauren Maternity Pics

Lauren hired me to do hair and make-up for her maternity photo session last April. We had a blast...I achieved her hair look with a curling iron. I wanted to give her that "in a magazine" loose curl/carefree glamourous hair vibe. She has great thick hair! Lauren wanted a really pretty but natural look for her makeup. I love how everything turned out! This is my favorite picture of her hair...

Rachel Crosby, Bridesmaid Pt. 2...2009 :)

Rachel Crosby (always the gorgeous bridesmaid!) hired me for hair and make-up for a wedding in January 2009.  The last appointment I had with Rachel we went with a beautiful plum gold flecked eye shadow (MAC Trax) and a shimmery great highlighter (Lancome Honeymoon).  This time I wanted to do more of a grey, smoky eye so I used one of my favorite MAC quad palettes--unfortunately a special edition that isn't available anymore.  The dress was amazing on her, and it was a very fun solid black design with fishtail bottom and large bow on one shoulder.  That gave me the idea for the swept up hair and soft but dramatic eyes.  I put her hair in large hot rollers for height, then used a curling iron on some pieces as I pinned them into place.  I always have a wonderful time with Rachel...she's a joy to be around and has beautiful skin so my job is made easier!  :)

Beth Smith's Wedding

Beth's wedding was in September 2008 in Franklin, TN.  I did make-up and Laura did hair for the beautiful bride and some of the bridesmaids.  These pictures were taken at the make-up dry run done at Salon F/X the week prior to her big day, and the rest are from the wedding day.
